A Hand to Hold

My Irish horror A Hand to Hold premiered at Telluride Horror Show in October 2025. The film is now in Academy Award qualifying competition at the 50th Cleveland International Film Festival 2026 and Miami Film Festival 2026.

The film is an official selection at many 2026 festivals including the 41st Santa Barbara International Film Festival, FrightFest, Glasgow Film Festival, Landshut Short Film Festival, Crimson Screen Horror Film Fest, Grossman Fantastic Film Festival, Southside Film Festival, Jersey Film Festival and Six Feet Under Film Festival.

In this graphic, creature-horror comedy, Frances Barber (Mr. Holmes) plays an elderly woman who finds herself literally attached to her deceased husband, Murray McArthur (How to Train Your Dragon). When his hand refuses to let go after death, it leads to increasingly grotesque events.
